All about ANTIOXIDANTS

Antioxidants are natural compounds that help protect the body from harmful free radicals. Antioxidants play a benefitial role in the prevention of disease. Antioxidants work synergistically in giving protection against free radical damage, so it is better to take smaller doses of several different antioxidants than a large dose of only one.

The Antioxidants

Alpha lapoic acid, Bilberry, Burdock, Caretenoids,
Co-enzyme Q10, Tumeric, Flavonoids, Garlic,
Ginko Biloba, Glutathion, NAC, Grape seed extract,
Green tea, Melatonin, Methionine, Pycnogenol,
Selenium, Vit A, Vit C, VIt E,
Zink and Milk Thistle.

Although they work best in synergy, high dosages of a single antioxidant can be used for treatment eg. Melatonin for sleep, Burdock zink vit A for skin, Alpha lapoic acid and vit E for pregnancy and fertility etc.

Eat lots of fresh fruits, sprouts and veggies!
